The site of pharmacological academy has situated along the main axle in the master plan of the medical university of Yazd. In the space circulation of this faculty, the courtyard ranges and passages are combined. This pattern has conformity with Yazd’s native architecture and the reason was to break the sunlight and make the shades in these places.
In the main passage, administrative and public functions are located, while on the side (around the court yards) we have organized different departments.
The plan was made in 1980.
The faculty located in the desert and this introverted form, helps to keep the inner spaces away from the heat and the unpleasant winds.
By doing this we have managed to link the new building with the existing cafeteria for the university at one side and the central square on the other side.
